The mission of nappy.co is to help startups, brands and agencies be purposeful about representation in designs and presentations. The images are free. And they’re beautifully shot.

The search feature is limited, but if you don’t mind scrolling for your perfect shot, then this is the place to find excellent stock photography featuring people of colour.

From lifestyle to business stock photography, Nappy has a wide range of photos for you to choose from.

Categories include: Active, Food, People, Places and Work. Many of the images appear to be international communities of color.

Best of all, their library is completely FREE.

All photos posted on nappy are licensed under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license so feel free to do your thing. That means you can download these photos, modify them, share them, distribute them, or use them for whatever you want for free. The more you use them, the more we’re helping improve the representation of black and brown people in media.”

Expect some people to be bothered by the name but they don’t require that you use it.
